On Saturday, February 8th, Friends of Northern Lake Champlain joined Highgate Library and Community Center for their annual Winter Carnival! We had a blast learning about sled dogs, making smores, building snowmen, and playing games!

FNLC's table included an ice-fishing practice game with trivia questions to answer for a prize! Children and adults had so much fun testing their skills and sharpening their angler minds. Our fish pens and temporary tattoos were a hit!

The Siber Sled Dogs organization out of Cambridge, Vermont brought their lovely huskies to play in the snow and show off their sledding skills! Milagro, the amazing owner of these pups, also showed off her incredible artwork using the fur of her dogs!
